Several months ago a young fellow on this form had bad luck with the 62 grain varmint Grenade bullets He pulled them all and offered them for a geatly reduced price. Thought they would be worth testing so I bought them. They arrived pull marks and all. Tested them yesterday in my Ruger .243 Varmint. 41gr. Accurate 4064, Winchester cases, #34 primers oal=2.744". A little sooty, mild, 3470fps, average velocity.3/16" 5 shot group at 50 yds. 1 1/2" group at 300 yds. 5 to 10 MPH wind angling from the rear. with the same load the 68gr. Berger match did great also. FYI* Steven's mod. 200, 22-250, 55gr. Varmint Night Mare, 39 gr. H-4831, Fed cases, 215 primer, oal=2.475"., 3340 fps., 4 shot .200" group at 50 yds. A 3 shoot 2" group at 300 yds. and another 4 shot 1 5/8" group at 300 yds. roger Old age is a high price to pay for maturity!!! Some never pay and some pay and never reap the reward.
