I would use mag primers with those, especially in cold weather.

Magnum primers in a 7mm-08? I don't think so.

I use standard primers for all the combinations you mentioned. Everything seems to go "BANG!" just fine.

If you're just jonesin' to use the mag. primers, then no harm done. They're just not necessary.

I with RSY. Standard primers are fine. I've used them for 45 years of reloading from the desert to the mountains in winter with never a problem in anything from pistol powder to surplus machinegun powders.

The only thing Magnum primers do for sure is make the manufacturers an extra dime per box.

PS - This includes a couple of kegs of 4831 in the cartridges you mentioned.

I only use magnum primers in belted cartridges. I use standard primers in all the rifles you named even if I'm using ball powder. Its always worked for me.

I use what the Reloading manual says and let the experts figure out why. My 2cents worth.
