Is it necessary to uniform the primer procket and deburr the flash hole in Lapua brass?

I have 150 lapua 243 cases that I fireformed to 7mm-08 & 50 remington 7mm-08 cases,I decided to deburr the flash holes. With the remington cases I found a fair bit of resistance to the de-burring tool & removed a fair amount of metal, with the lapua cases I found virtually no resistance to the tool & removed very little metal, the difference in deburring the remington & lapua cases was dramatic & I think that deburring of the lapua cases is probably not necessary. The lapua cases have the most uniform primer pockets that i've seen & think that trying to uniform them further would be a waste of time. Alan

Johnuf - I just got 100 6.5-284 Lapua cases. I agree with Tumbo about the flash holes - the deburring tool barely removed any brass dust from any of the cases. I did the primer pockets and found some variation between the cases. Squaring the pockets once has the added advantage of allowing a light touch with the uniformer to quickly and completely remove the carbon left after firing.

I have 100 Lapua 7.62x53R cases that appear to be inside chamfered at the factory in a way that makes a ridge on the outside. Because the ridge on the outside is lower than the chamfer is deep on the inside, it is best not to do any chamfering until after the brass has been fired, becase probably none will be needed.
