Yup it was the preferred powder with the 80gr TTSX bullets in 25-06 and shot superbly in the gruops I tested at 100 yeards

I am working up a load using 100 gr. Nosler BT's.. Started at 49grs and max at 52grs. with Winchester primers. 4 loads 5 rounds each. Should give me a pretty good idea. I will work on the 270 later. Dave

While I've owned some 270 and 25-06 rifles, can't say as I've ever used H100V in them. However, I have in maybe four or five other cartridges. Heck, I even tried it in .308 win and Hodgdon shows no load data for this powder. Consider it a decent powder that meters good. Gave a pound of it to a shooting buddy to try that's much more reloading savvy than me with much higher standards for accuracy from his rifles. He was impressed with the H100V he tried and mentioned it to another experienced reloader/shooter friend. This guy tried it too and called him back, asking how come we'd never heard anything about it....I had excellent results with it.
