Hammer, No experience with 2230 .. but I am finding Win 748 seems to work pretty well at max (28gr)with both 52 and 55 gr sierras, it works well in the powder measure, flows nicely ..(52 gr hpbt - 5 shots at 100 covered with a dime) .. I just did some testing with IMR 3031, and that seemed to work well also..(group not as tight as 748) however, the best load with 3031 was a "crunch", and I think pressures were pretty high.. Yup I also bought the 8lb keg from them. I used it in 223 for my brand new AR-15. Shoots nice and CHEAP too!

Hammer,

I recently rebarrelled my 527, and when working up loads for it I tested Acc 2230C and my old standby 4198. Out of my rig it shoots as well as 4198. If I needed 223 powder I wouldn't pass that up.
