Hey folks,

Looking for a little insight here. I'm trying to get some 210NP's to run in my Ruger 77 338 winny. I have tried the usual Rel 19 up to 76.0, Rel5 up to 65.5 grains and Imr 4350 up to 73.0 grains and I've gotten velocity's up to 2967 but accuracy went south.

There was MOA accuracy with Rel9 at 75 grains but velocity's were at the 2867 range. Pretty slow for a 210. I'm running 225's at 2880 with very good accuracy.

All were loaded .020 off lands, I was wondering if backing them away a little at a time would be beneficial.

What has been your folks experience with the 338 and 2120's

Why bother with the 210's if the 225's are running that well. 225 is as low as I go in my 338. If I want lighter bullets I go to my 300 RUM.

I have never gotten the 210 Nosler Partition to shoot very well in either of my .338 Win Mag rifles.

Like TJay says, if the 225 Nosler is shooting that well, why mess with the 210 version?

The 225 Nosler is my current choice for my .338 Win Mag. I also shoot them at about 2880 and they drop every thing from wild hogs to elk with great performance.

If you have some desire to shoot a lighter bullet in your .338 Win Mag, try the 200 grain Nosler Accubond. It has replaced the 200 grain Ballistic Tip which has worked great for me on wild hogs.
