anyone using hornady 110 gn v-max in 270 win?
i bought some yesterday and going to put them over imr 4350
do you all like them?

i load v-max bullets as follows 110gr-308
110gr-270
75gr-257
i find all 3 to be very accurate. the 270 is a ruger 77 sporter weight. it shoots MOA consistantly if you allow the small barrel to cool. good luck and good shooting!!!!

I am shooting 110 VMax's in a 270 Winchester with RL-15. I know the powder seems to be fast for the application but I could not get the velocity up with slower burning powders.

My load is over the book max in Sierra #5. It's very accurate and the velocity is about 3350 fps out of a 24" barrel over an Oehler 35P.
