Building me a Ultralight 458 Lott now!...Has anyone experimented with loads for the lighter bullets in the 458 Lott? Any animals taken and kill/penetration results with these fast flying 300-450 X bullets...Load Data? Also,North Forks(400-450),they look promising.Anyone using them in their Lott? Thankyou!!

I shot an elk with the 458 Lott using 400 grain Woodleigh PP bullets. Today I would use a North Fork, but the Woodleigh worked just great.

I can't resist asking? what will your lott weigh? sub 6 lbs? I love reading about your exploits into the "recoil-zone". I should be able to tell you what the light weights (300-405) will do when my 458AR get finished in 3-4 months.
