I have not been able to find any 33 gn speer TNT bullets yet to reload for my 22 hornet, has anyone reloaded them yet and how do you like them compared to what you usually load? What powder works best?

Bret:

Speer talks them up on their web site. Interestingly, they also recommend small pistol primers for the Hornet.

I've been really enthusiastic about the prospect of the 33 grain TNT in my K-Hornet, but haven't been able to locate any at a local dealer. May have to order some to try them out, but won't have time until the spring.

If they perform anywhere close the what the 50 grain TNT does in my .222, they'll be real winners. I am a bit disappointed that they have such a relatively blunt ogive compared to the slick little 50, however.
