63.5gr R19 winchester brass, win mag primer, 130gr serria game king just touching the lands gets me .50 to .75 5shot groups with 3350fps in my vangaurd

same load with 130gr Barnes ttsx shoots 1.5 inch groups

as usual, work up to this slowly

There is no way to tell what your rifle will like. Magpro is the powder for the 270WSM. RL-19 is also exceptional with 130gr bullets. Start at 62.0gr and carefully work up to 66.0gr. You should see velocities approaching or exceeding the 3300fps mark.

I shot many test rounds from my .270 WSM last year with 140 grn. Accubonds but found better results from H4831sc and did much more shooting with it.

My two .270 WSM's favor RL-22 and RL-25. Just started playing with Magpro and RL-17, the jury is still out. I have a good supply of RL-19, yet have never shot it. Good shooting.

My Winchester M70 270 WSM likes R-19 in the 130 and r-22 for the 140.

Remington Brass, Fed 215M primer, Scirroco 130 and Sierra 130's on top of 65 grains of R-19.

Same set up on the A-frame 140 over 64 grains of r-22. This load I do not know if the 64 is right.

****The 65 grains of r-19 was a max load in my gun, so use with caution.****

In my .270 WSM, I've settled on Retumbo and a 150 gr. Partition. IMR-7828 also showed good promise. I only use 150 gr. bullets in my 27 cal. rifles tho. Bear in Fairbanks
