Is there a preferred powder for the 260 Rem and 120 grain bullets. Specifically 120 grain Nos BT, for white tail hunting.

Thanks

Anything that works with the 308 and medium weight bullets will work. My 260 likes H4350 for the 123 grain bullets.

I find the faster powders get much better velocity in a 20" barrel, 4350 was accurate, but much slower comapared to 4320 and 4064 which were accurate and fast.

We weren't shooting them for sped as much. But Varget goes very well with 260s if you have any.

My best accuracy was with H414. Varget worked better with 100s, for me at least.

my .260 liked IMR4064, RL-15.. but it really liked H4350 I've have been sticking with this combo 46.0 grs H4350 and 120 N.B.T. i get the same group size with all 3 , but H4350 gives me more velocity, and better load density... i have also found out the .260 likes the same powders as does the .243 and my 7mm-08 likes the same powders as does my .308
