Can anyone advise on the Franklin Arsenal Platinum Case Prep? It looks like a nice machine for trimming bottleneck cases to a desired length and for deburring on the same machine immediately afterward. It uses a setting where the case neck is shoved into a cutter that will space off of the shoulder to the desired neck/case length. My question: can a .510" neck be placed into the cutter receptical? Franklin already advertizes that the tool is good for the 460 WEatherby. That would seem to imply that the super magnum rounds with a .561" shoulder will fit. But will a .577 shoulder and .534" neck/.510"case-mouth also fit? If the Franklin tool does not work, what would be recommened for trimming and deburring groups of 243, 270, 375Ruger, 416Rigby, and 500AccRel? Thank you for your help. +-+-+-+-+-+-+ "A well-rounded hunting battery might include: 500 AccRel Nyati, 416 Rigby or 416 Ruger, 375Ruger or 338WM, 308 or 270, 243, 223" -- Conserving creation, hunting the harvest. | ||
