Your experience is THE RARE EXCEPTION! I have personally, and know a lot of other people who, have been unable to obtain that kind of performance from a mini-whatever, REGARDLESS OF THE AMOUNT OF EFFORT EXPENDED! Several have gone back to Ruger, and came back WORSE!!

I'm glad you guys have the talent to heal the deficiencys of the Mini.
I've shot a half a dozen of them and wasn't at all impressed with the out of the box accuracy, ergonomics or build quality.
Also, that thin barrel gets hot real fast and loses accuracy during extended firing.
I've also been 5 shooting positions down the firing line from them and been showered in hot brass.
They've got too many problems for the average guy to deal with.
Just my experience.

What's the problem with the Yugo versions of the SKS? I don't know shit from shampoo about them, but I have seen a bunch of these Yugo's for sale.

You can make a Mini shoot well , but you can also make a lawnmower fly if you spend enough money.

I couldn't have said it better myself, covey!

Well..... I probably could have said it better..... but then I would be getting death threats from Ruger Mini owners!

I wish there was a simple fix for Mini accuracy problems... but the truth is....... there isn't! The "miracle cures" are expensive and seldom produce the promised results.

I agree being showered with brass is a pain in the ass. That is why I installed a smaller gas port bushing. The kit I bought comes with 3 diff. sizes. I ended up with the largest of the 3 and now my brass shoots about 3 to 4 feet depending on the load I am using.

Not true, not true at all.
