Hi, guys!!!
Sorry for my english...
I'm a beginner reloader from Russia.
I have а Tikka T3 rifle in .308win
You see here in Russia is very hard to get components for reload :-(
Powder and primers I can bought here, but with bullets and Brass I have a problem.
I would like to ask the forum participants, who can buy for me, that's things like this:
100 Lapua Rifle Brass .308 win
300 Lapua .308 167 gr Scenar
and send them to me in Russia?

Welcome to AR.....your english is actually quite good and as far as I know the only Russian member we have.

A long time ago I took a course in Russian and remember a small amount as I've not actually had a chance to use it....so english it is!

I've sent items to Finland, Canada, and New Zealand without incident.....so far.....

I'm not at all sure what the law is and some distributors might actually make overseas shipments.....

Who have you tried so far?....

Graf & Sons?
Midway?
Midsouth?

Nobody in the US can do this for you unless they have a State Department export license because brass & bullets are restricted items.

There is a Lapua importer in Russia, so contacting them will be the best way:

Привет Sshimko,

To vapodog:
I tried to book on these sites, but they have not sent in the Russian :-(
I thought maybe someone would agree to buy in a store bullets in a US and send me an ordinary letter stating that the "spare parts" or something like this.
In this way, I sent the knife from Japan ...

To everybody:
Do not try to write to me on the Russian ... write in native language. I understand English better than wrong Russian :-)

What SR4759 said and I confirmed is that you'd be best served by a contact with someone from Finland. There are several Finlanders posting here.

Next time I see one I'll send him a meaage to post here.

I'm not sure this is a good idea. I really feel for you, and your situation reminds me of how lucky I am to live in the USA.

I'm not sure which is worse, bad English, or bad Russian--but I suspect that a Russian who knows a little English could become terribly confused trying to decipher someone's bad English. Even people who speak good English, have trouble understanding bad English.

English learned as a native speaker is quite different than the English taught as an academic subject.

When questions are written in numbered bullet points and answers are provided in numbered bullet points it is relatively easy to communicate in most languages.

sshimko,

Have you ever researched or considered purchasing or making a bullet mold for your bullets? If you can get powder and primers, once you locate your brass it would make things much easier for you, not to mention much cheaper.

If you have trouble locating a bullet mold, there are a few books from the 1920's-1950's that describe how to make them, and some of these books are available free online.

In addition, if you have a reloading press and dies already you can form your own brass from certain other cases such as 30-06 if you have any empties of those laying around.

We have a fair few Russian members here and a few of us even in hunt in Russia.

Most of them tend to hang around on the Asian hunting forum, try a cross post there.

I believe easyman05 is from Moscow, where abouts in Russia are you?

I've sent cast bullets over seas, I discribed them as lead castings and lubricated castings.
No problem. Dealing with government employees it's not what you do it's what you call it.
Cartridge cases can be brass extrusions and bullets can be bimetal swaged replacement parts.

All depends on your attitude - if you want to help - you would try to understand! Only Gentlemans try to understand bad English.
