444 marlin cast loads

I was wanting to try some cast bullet loads in my winchester 94.But i dont know where to get info to give me a starting point on charge weight.The bullet I was looking at was the beartooth 290 grain.Thanks for any help you can give. JT

I have some data from JDJ for his 430 JDJ, which is the 444 shortened one tenth inch. These loads where worked up in 14" Contender.
42 grains H322 with a 315grain or a 360grain cast bullet with a velocity of 1600fps for both bullets, he also states that IMR3031 gives the same results as H322. I have used the data for jacketed bullets with the same weight cast bullets my-self and had good results in both my Contender and my Marlin.

Go to Loadswap at the Beartooth website.Hodgdon#27,Speer#13,and Hdy have good info. The 290LFNGC is a good bullet.
