If someone has a Remington factory 405 softpoint and a set of calipers handy I would really be grateful for a length measurement. Have been all over town this afternoon and nobody has them in stock. Within +/- 0.010 or so would be fine. Thanks.

I measured several, .994" to .998".

Uhhhhh... I think he was looking for loaded CARTRIDGE OverAll Length, not the length of the bullet...
