I would like some loads for the 6.5x06 using light bullets. I mostly use IMR, Hogdgen, Win and Reloaders powders. I have a slow twist, so will be looking to make 85 to 100 grainers work. Thanks in advance for any info. The load I got with the gun is with 100gr and H450 and it shoots okay. Just want to do some expirimenting and have no losd data to start with other than Nosler book which starts at 120 grainers. | ||

Here's a few with 100 grain bullets H-414............52 grains H4831............58 grains IMR 4350.........52 grains all get you about 3,400 and are max listed loads Data is from the Hornady handbook. /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Spend $22 on a new Nosler manual, the #5 manual shows loads for 100gr bullets, four different loads for the 100gr partition all topping 3400fps. Nosler doesn't show loads for bullets lighter than 120grains in the 3rd edition manual because at the time Nosler didn't make anything lighter than their 120gr solid base. You can thank Remington for the 260rem cartridge because Nosler's 100gr ballistic tip and 100gr partition were specifically designed the meet the demand of 260Rem owners.
