Has anybody had any difficulty getting consistent results with the Freebore Assembly tool?

Difficulty...no, impossiblity!

The shoulder gage and seating depth gage parts are great but you can toss that "free bore" tool out, it's useless. IMHO.

I could not get the Freebore Assembly tool to work. The Freebore Assembly tool was not consistent. I tried it in a Savage a Sako and a Ruger Bolt action rifles and the results were all over the place.
In Australia they charge $100.00 for the Precision Micrometer.
There must be an alternative product.
