Anyone have a good load worked up using a 180 gr partition in the 308 winchester? What velocities can be expected(22 inch barrel)?

Havent shot them yet , but I just loaded some 185gr lapua megas with 42, 42.5, 43 gr of R15

No load for you for the 308 and 180 NP, but I did want to let you know that I have had excellent results using this bullet in a 309 JDJ in a 14" Contender. Excellent results on a shoulder shot on a cow elk. This was with a velocity of 2200 fps.

You should be able to get 2400 fps on the low side up to 2600 fps on the high side.

Great bullet and should work great in your 308.
