What are you guys shoting for a COL for your 22-250's. Anyone with a Savage escpecially.
I have been trying from 2.280 to 2.484 which is around 7-9 thousands off the lands.
I have read befor that 22 cal bullets like a little jump?

COAL is totally dependant upon the bullet you are loading...

Like Steve said, it depends.

I went 'round and 'round with a Rem 700 a couple years ago and discovered it absolutely insisted on its mollied 52 Sierras being almost a hundred thou (yep! a TENTH) off the leade. Somewhere between that and zero is where you need to be [Big Grin]

Get a Stoney Point gauge and experiment a bit. It's the only way to tell what works.
