Yes I have tried this in 458 x 2", 458 win mag, and the 458 lott. I find that if you seat a OX Yoke type .45 cal heavy felt pad on top of the powder then use wax as a filler place two ball and crimp snug the top ball they are great fun and the wax seems to help keep the barrel from leading up I shot a full box of 100 .457 ball in two weekends between one and three balls per case. with one ball they were great plinking rounds are were dead on at 100 yards, two balls were alot of fun on water jugs and other targets at close range but when I tried three balls the third seemed to be a flier??? may be it was me or something but it works well.

I don't have my reloading book this weekend I'm putting my data on an excel spread sheet on another computer. So I feel kinda lost this weekend but I'll get the info on monday but I believe it was 2400. I first learned of the load for some gun magazine some years ago about a guy that was shooting armadillos if that is how you spell them.

I've done it with a .54 muzzleloader some years ago. It seems to me if I kept the charge light, it was OK at close range, but if I went up a little in powder, the balls flew erratic.
I also seem to remember pictures in an old Lymans manual of 2 round balls taken in flight. If the powder charge is too high, the balls tend to smash together, then they have flat spots on them and don't fly straight. Still more powder, can actually stick the balls to each other in flight.
Hope this helps I used 1 round ball which weigh 142.8gr, 37.8 gr of 2400 a heavy felt 45. cal felt wad, used my lee pro 4 20 or what ever it's called melted canning wax filled up the cases to the top let cool then seated a ball on top of the wax a small amount of compression is required, but remember I am using a much bigger case so check your loading manual, two balls equals 285.6 gr and three balls weigh 428.4 gr your loading manual should tell you a good cast load in the weight area that will operate at the pressure your gun will handle any ways good luck AND LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKED.

I forgot to tell you to remember as you use more of your case capacity for the balls your case pressure will go up so you will have to reduce your powder charge and my have to use some colt 45 loads or something with compairable case volume and bullet weight. I do not show a load for n-110. In my test loads for my 458.american x 2" I have test loads form 15-25 gr of 2400 with 2 ball but I have not fired them yet
