Just wondering if there's much of a velocity difference between 5" rifled and 4.6" polyagonal barrels. Well, at least have an OK day

Individual pistols will vary more. I have found the claim of higher vel. in polygon rifling marketing hype. At best you might see 10-15fps increase over a comperable length conventional bbl. I replaced the factory bbl. in my G17 for shooting lead & it actually gives slightly higher vel. than the factory. LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR'S SPORT!
