Federal Primers are going to military rounds right now. I was told it would be mid next year before they would ship to stores. They suggested I purchase CCI. If you check mail order houses they are out of most any brand of primers period. A couple of weeks ago I think Powder Valley still had so primers, but you have to pay $20 hazmat fee on any amount of primers or powder order. Good Luck!

Looked on Powder Valley's site and they show to have Federal 215M primers in stock.

I looked at Widener's too, I am too cheap to pay the fee. Just might have to I guess. Thanks

I saw 215M primers at Sportsman Warehouse at 84th and I-25 in Thornton, CO last week. I pickup a 1000 210M at the time. What part of northern Colorado are you in, west slope or east?

Primers are one of those hit or miss things right now. They’re in stock one minute and out of stock the next. Confused

I bought 300 Fed 215M primers last night in Arvada. It should get me thru the season. Afterwards I can fool around with CCI they seem to be abundant. Thanks all.

Who knows Chain,

By spring there may be more Federal primers in the stores then they have shelf room for.

I know I’m going to raise my on-hand minimum inventory of 210Ms though. This primer shortage put a dent I my prairie dog shooting this year.

What military weapons use large rifle magnum primers? 50BMG?

I think what is meant is that all the production machinery is dedicated to the production of military primers. There are no machines and or time left for "our" primers; the ones the military doesn't use.
