I was wondering what powder seems to work best with these.I have looked in a few load books and don't seem to be able to find them in there also if you could tell me amount of charge for these and OAL that would be great.

you can start with load data for any other 165-168gr Hornady bullet, and work up to a safe load.

Powders like Varget, Rl-15, 4064, 4895 work well with this combination.

Out of curiosity why wouldn't you shoot the 165 interbond? They are only $1 more per box!

Used that bullet years ago. Good bullet but try not to push it over 2700 fps. I had trouble with total disintegration. Loaded it with IMR 4831, had 1 inch groups. After slowing it down, it did much better. Hope this helps. Good shooting, jimjam

On a tangent, does anyone use BLC-2 for the middleweight 308's?
