Are you sure those are Nosler blems? The descriptions sound like Hornadys.

I checked out the shootersproshop and those are some great prices on the blems. I don't care what they look like as long as they shoot well. Difinitely going to order some.



Do any of the other Bullet Manufacturers offer factory 2nds? Sierra, Hornady? Where can you get them?

Have any of you had any luck w/ the Nosler Blems?

I was thinking of loading some of the 7mm 140 Accubonds but, I am kind of hesitant in loading Blemished Bullets. After all, they got culled for some reason.

I used nosler blems 260/375 on our recent trip to Namibia. Great groups, they held together well on tough plains game including mountain zebra, looked spotless. I have no hesitation after our experience. Bob

Speer does. I live a little ways a way from the plant and they sell them at a sporting goods store a mile from the plant.

I have been over to the Nosler factory multiple times.

Believe me, I think they have better quality control on their blems than some other manufactures have on the bullets they box and ship.

Don't let the word blem bother you one bit.

I have used a lot of them and the only difference I have ever seen is the price difference. Beyond that, there is no difference at all.

I am sure others will support the same statement.

The thing is that I got some too. Most of them shoot just fine but a bag of 140 gr .270 Accubonds fly into about four or five inches at 100 yds. Now this may be that the rifle just does not shoot that bullet well.

This never happens with Sierra bullets. Never.

Now I have to throw them out or shoot them in another 270. The other 270 is set up on another bullet.

At this point it does not seem worth it.

Get Barnes seconds, overruns, and discontinued directly from the factory via their website. As I remember, the price included shipping.

I know you know what you are doing there guy, but I'd tend to blame it either on the rifle or just that rifle doesn't like those bullets, period.

I don't know about the other factory seconds, but most of Noslers, come from being spilled on the floor or factory overruns for some vendors usually. That is why not all calibers are constantly available as seconds.

Remember, they are still making a profit on factory seconds.
But why put your reputation on the line to send out lousy products even if they are seconds?

I don't think it is worth it to Nosler or Sierra.
