Does anyone has some loading information that I can use to to load and fire lap my 22-250. I purchased a packet of "David Tubb" brand lapping bullets, but am unsure on what brand powder to use and how much of it to put in. thanks mike NRA LIFE/ENDOWMENT MEMBER

just asking for information on loading bullets to fire lap. hopefully someone has some info on loading this type of bullet. bullet weight wont really come into play with it being such a light load. all it needs is to have the bullet go out the barrel, but i do not want to overload it and that is why i am asking for info from someone that has done it. thanks for the opinion, but i seek information. mike NRA LIFE/ENDOWMENT MEMBER

It's your money, but why scrap a perfectly good barrel? Hang that packet on your loading room wall, as a reminder of the old P.T.Barnum saying "A fool and his money are soon parted". If you get the idea that "Fire Scrapping" is poorly thought of by people here, you'd be correct.

Why not call up Tubbs??? Do they have a web site??? Put me in the column with the others that think its a sour idea.

I just bought a new Remington 700 22/250 and the only lapping I am going to do is to break it in at the range with 55 grain FMJ bullets!
