I'm very new to reloading and I have a couple of questions regarding my 45-70. I see in my reloading manual it shows the brass as having a maximum case length of 2.105" I bought a box of starline brass and i have about 40 one fired shells. when i went to measure and trim them they were all significantly shorter than the maximum 2.105" (they're around 1.95"). I know that's a maximum size but is there a length that's common to use? I'm nervous to use a case that is too short. Thanks
