I was cleaning up some stuff in the "old" loading room last night and found volume one of the speer loading manual (1954), among various other old loading manuals and notes and quite a few boxes of old reloaded rifle ammo. It was just kinda neat looking through some of the old data and results noted by my dad and his buddies when they were reloading. FWIW

The .44 Magnum was introduced in 1956, so probably a 1957 vintage manual will be the first to have loading data. Some might have put out an update for the .44, but I don't think so.
