case trimming and case life questions

for you '06 shooters:

How much do you typically have to trim to get the case back to "trim to length" after each firing? Is 0.01 about average? That seems to be how much mine grow each shooting.

Also, how many loadings do you guys get out of your brass (assuming proper care, annealing, etc.)?

When cases get to the max. of 2.494" they are trimmed back to 2.484" . I dont trim every time. The life of the case can be as short as 3 loadings, depending on you load.

Get a Sinclair casse length gauge as my 06's chamber was able to handle cases almost .020 longer than book.. and it's reusable between same caliber chamberings...
