I just got some of the new AA Mag Pro Powder.

It has very impressive data, so it will be fun finding out.

Originally designed for the 300 WSM it pushes 180 gr at 3028 fps.
And 165 gr at 3223 fps.

But the sleeper is it's use in the 270 Win.

130 gr at 3234 fps and 150 gr at 3,000 and this out of a 24" barrel.

Also the 25-06 at 120 gr at 3039 fps.

I've been wondering about MagPro. Is it extruded, spherical, or ??

I note Ross Seyfried reported unexpectedly good results in the .300 WSM with RL25.

As bad as the political side of gun owenership is in many places, this is a great time to be a shooter/reloader. We have such a wonderful choice in components and the best hunting bullets ever made.

MagPro is a "ball" powder, so use a magnum primer.
