Hey' I don't have any hands on experience,but I have been informed,that most semi auto's are designed for bottle necked cases.I don't think I would want to use cases with 40 and 35 degree shoulders in them.I don't know if any smiths modify semi auto to handle the sharp shoulder. 1geejay www.shooting-hunting.com | ||

I've never seen an Ackley cartridge done on a semi-auto. I don't think they would feed very reliably. However, I saw a Rem 760 pump action in 35 Whelen Ackley Imroved sometime back, so I guess it's possible. FWIW - Dan | |||
