I am about to start refining my handloads by adjusting the 'jump' to the lands.

What increments should I use ? 15 thou, 20 thou ?

Cartridge 250-3000. Projectile Nosler 100 BT.

For me I shoot mainly Barnes T(TSX) and Nosler Partitions; therefore, I start load development at 0.050 until I find my desired powder charge amount. Then, I seata from 0.030 to 0.070 with 0.010 differences.

keep in mind this is for hunting rifles making sure my desired length fits into the magazine.

For varmint rifles, I do something similar but look at starting the loads at 0.010 off the lands.
