Hi Folks, A mate of mine is looking for a starting load for his CZ550,in.308,can you help?

His powder is H4350, 130grn Hornady SP. I don't know if there is a recipe for this combination.Many thanks jc

The Hodgdon website doesn't list any H4350 loads for that light of a bullet.

Yes, that is a very slow powder for a 308, so if that is all you have, you can fill it up with powder and live with the slow velocities.

4350 and the light 130 grain bullet is a bad combo in the 308. You will get low pressure, low velocity and a lot of unburned powder in the bore.
