I have on occassion did the final reloads at the range. I just "C" clamp my rock chucker to one of the benches along with the powder drop. I use a electronic scale that runs on 9v DC and the powder trickler uses a single AA. There are several guys at the shooting club that use the back of the pickup truck but it wasn't all that fancy. Used a 3/4 plywood as the bench protruding over the tail gate and a stool to make it a little mor comfortable.

I'm about to load at the range, but took a very "minimalist" approach. I have my brass all prepped and primed, and I have a little press from Lee that operates like a pair of vise grips. That, a balance type powder scale, lube, and a funnel, and I'm able to load on the spot.

I have been kicking the idea around of a range kit, just havent had the time to make it worth doing. I have thought of mounting the base of a lee loader on a hinged plate. It would be in a box that would open in a half. Make a box, and cut it in half from bottom corner to top corner. That would be hinged also. I could draw a sketch for you if you like. Just let me know.. Email me.. Late..

I load right at my shooting bench when at the range. I have a kenndy too box and it holds my powder measure, arbor press, wilson dies,k&m priming tool, primers, bullets etc. My set up is like the ones used at benchrest matches. With this set up you can go with one or as many cases as you like. I normally only use 5 cases when testing and I just keep reloading those 5. Well good luck! Tom
