I have a chance to purchase a rifle chambered in 220 Russian. I'm finding plenty of info regarding the 22 and 6 PPC, but very little on the original Russian round regarding reloading. A WAG tells me to use starting loads for the 22PPC and work up. As an aside, I'm told there was an American version of the Russian called the 220 American?

You may be able to get some info on the 220 Russian over on www.benchrest.com as several "top competitors" are using a tight neck version of this.
