If you need some more info about the 6x62 Frères, send me a PM. I have a R93 in that caliber and have developed a few reloads.

I have QuickLoad and the diagram in that program makes it look like it could be formed from .30-'06. Might check around.

According to COTW, the 6X62mm Freres case has a larger head diameter than the .30/'06, and "should not be formed from .30/'06 brass".
Yet the given head diameter is .474". Since the '06 is .470", I am not convinced that '06 brass could not be used, particularly a lot that is on the "generous" side. I don't think an unsupported .002" on each side would cause trouble (after fireforming!)

KechuttiHey RNS
Is there any notice about your search for 6x62 Frères cases?

MasteriflemanTake Kechutti's advice and try to get Horneber brass. All my experience with Bertram brass has been less than satifactory, ie; 0 quality control on dimensions.
