Results today with 340gr V15 and Re15 handloads from my Zastava LK M70 full stock carbine (20" 1:14 barrel). Zeroed with same powder charge 350gr TTSX (0.44 bc). V15 (0.78 bc) shoots a bit high and right as shown. Need to adjust aim a bit if V15 used. Also checked 400gr 1825 fps mv reduced load POI. All mild pressure loads.

I'm building a 416 Rem Mag for myself on a Montana action and a sweet piece of Turkish walnut. Too bad all my stuff takes back-burner to other's stuff.
Thanks for the report. You've motivated me!

Interesting results. Do those CEB 340's chamber OK? They look mighty long!

V15 single fed. VLD bullet 0.78 bc pretty good downrange energy. Although 350gr TTSX (0.444 bc) ain't too bad either.

Thanks! I'll agree the 350 TTSX is an intriguing proposition. There's an article in the new American Hunter where Randy brooks uses the 416 RM & 350 TTSX for a grizzly bear. Seems about right.
