A friend gave me some bullets that he tried to moly coat at home.

They are a mess to handle and that stuff gets all over everything.

How do you get the moly off the bullets?

use a vibrator tumbler with walnut media it will take off all but the stain.

I read an article by John Barsness where he mentions taking the moly off of Failsafe bullets by soaking them in Moly Magic. I've never tried it myself.

Put them in the trash and let the garbageman take care of them.

Tumble them for an hour or so (walnut or corn cob media and your usual polish/brass cleaner). The moly will come off. Or at least it does for me.
