Managed to strip the thread holding my decapping pin in my full length resizer. It is now stuck in the case neck of a shell. I will buy new parts but I would like to make sure I have learned from this experience. - I can only summise that I didn't have enough graphite inside the case neck to lube it. - Or it had loosened on the thread and wobbled of centre or provided some intial give that put to much pressure on the thread. Anything else I should be considering to avoid repeating this. "everyone makes mistakes, only and idiot makes the same one twice" quoted from someone I hope they weren't reffering to me

What brand of die? RCBS will replace the deprimer for free if you call, and help you figure out what went wrong. ------------------------------------ The trouble with the Internet is that it's replacing masturbation as a leisure activity. ~Patrick Murray "Why shouldn`t truth be stranger then fiction? Don't waste time with Australian distributors. Just email RCBS, explain the problem, and they will either mail you the parts at no cost or ask you to mail them back and they will replace/repair at no cost to you. I ruined a 223 die ( actually two) and RCBS abd Dillon replace the dies gratis as well as throwing in a bunch of decapping pins. rob "the older I get, the better I was"

I had an RCBS hand primer for about 15years. Then the handle broke. A small gunshop sent it to the agent in Australia, and a new handle was returned free. Pitty it wouldn't fit as it was for a new model, but it's the thought that counts. So far been waiting about 6 mths.for a part from Highland Sports, so be wary of buying anything they import.
