If you are tired of converting the weight, the folks at Midsouth have an electronic scale (Smart Reloader 750) ON SALE for $13.12. Makes me wonder "WHY???" It is on page 6 Page 5 in the Clearance file. But, I will know "WHY???" by Friday. For Batteries, it uses either 2-AAA or maybe it was 2-AA, don't remember. Midsouth has a $40 Minimum Order, or they charge something extra per order. For some reason, I've never had a problem exceeding $40. Their Shipping Fee seems to be the lowest I have to deal with.

I do like all those nice wall cabinets and the rest of your set-up as well.

EDIT IN: I just went back to verify the Page and the Clerance List has shifted forward. The Scale is now on the bottom of Page 5.

That's a pretty spiffy set-up. I truly wish I had that much space to devote to my bench. Good Luck & Happy Loading.

Mine looks similar about once a year after it's regular Spring Clean-Up. Digresses quickly thereafter.

I will make one remark and please don't take this the wrong way. Your florescent light is directly above the electronic scale. I was lead to believe from reading (yeah, once) the instructions from my Lyman that electronic scales don't appreciate being too close to florescent light?

The scale was free. All I have in it is paint, so converting is no problem. I hardley use it anyway.

I like the setup. I enjoy seeing what other shooters have for reloading setups. I recentely finished my reloading room, which is similar to yours, with the cabinets. I'll post some pics if it's ever clean again.

Hey Ted, That is my-kinda-price!!! The $13.12 may end up being a total waste of $$$money$$$ anyhow.

While we are on the subject and of course admiring Hot Core's new "set-up", I think it's in due time we rename our reloading rooms, benches or whatever to; our reloading lab! After all, we are in there concocting ammunition based on scientific theory, practice and fundamentals. We work with metal components, chemicals and mathematical formulations in hopes of producing new results or trying to replicate an original formula. I think a reloading lab is by far more appropriate than "my reloading bench or shop" and gives off a flavor of prestige and importance. Think of it this way, "Mom where's dad" don't bother him Johnny, he's in his lab. Sounds good aehh. Beats "I think he's down in the basement again playing with bullets, if you see him, boot him in the berries and tell him it's time for dinner"..

The Rec Room.

The first thing I see wrong is that it is WAY too neat and clean. No tools, cotton swabs, bent paper clips, misc. shell holders, cleaning rags, etc., etc.,etc. laying anywhere! Are you new to reloading? Just kidding. Looks nice.

Nice shop Ted. Did you do all the work your self? How many sq ft, and Any pictures of the outside of the shop?

JD, I had lots of help but did a ton of the work myself and I am still working on it. 10 ft. more of cabinets and bench and lots more insulating and OSB to put up. All of the electric is done with TV and phone also. The size is 30x40 (1200sq.) with 10' ceilings. Gun vault and freezer wrapped in plastic stayed outside during the build but the guns were moved elsewhere.
