I wore-out my old Lee Autoprime some time ago and I haven't found anything that I really like to replace it. I tried the Lee Ram-prime, the standard Rockchucker press primer tool and the RCBS handheld. I really miss the Lee Autoprime!
I am thinking of trying the K&M Deluxe Hand Priming Tool.
I am wondering what you guys use/like.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.
Take a look at the 21st Century Shooting auto feed priming tool. Uses the Lee tray, ( which didn,t thrill me, initially), but lets me put in as many primers as I want, and is consistent! Expensive, and if I had it to do over again I would.
But I I am re-priming from loose primers I use a Lyman 310 tool and its priming die. You can truly "feel" the primer go in. Those old 310 tong tools still have a use.
Thanks
Haven't thought about my 310 tool for ages I should dig it out and use it as a priming tool for special jobs.

I have 3 at the present time. An old Lee that I only use for 222,223,204 17 rem etc. Don't really like it as you have to buy their shellholders to use it. Much better is the RCBS handheld. Don't like the primer blocking lever arrangement that must be disconnected to change shellholders. Mine is now set up for belted cases. Works good. I my opinion the best is the new Lyman hand held tool. Uses the std shellholders you use in your press. Shellholders are very easy to change and the tool works very well. If you are in the market for a new priming tool you should at least check out the Lyman tool before you spend your money.
I like the old Lee handheld, had mine since about 1980 and have rebuilt the rams and toggle arrangement (bought replacement toggle and made the rams from Hilti pins), I have an RCBS unit also but usually go back the the Lee.
The RCBS Handheld Auto Prime is in my opinion the best system. Had a 2 Hornady's and they had problems with alignment of the priming ram leaving dent marks on the primer. Lee tends to break after a while. Lyman also makes one, but feels a bit sloppy in the hand.
You can buy and use up four (or more) Lee Autoprimes for the price of one of their competitors, but nothing works as well as the Lee. Lubricate the toggle and contact points from time to time with a little Vasoline and you'll be surprised how long a tool lasts. But nothing is forever, so just toss it when it doesn't bottom out the primer any more. But the shellholders never wear out, so what's the bellyaching about "having to buy new ones"?

I like the old Lee autoprime too. So much so that when they announced the new one I bought another of the old so I would have it when my current autoprime wears out.
