looking for loads you have found to be both accurate in your rifle and having what you consider decent speed.

if you can, please tell me powder, charge, bullet, case, and primer.

i appreciate your responses.

thanks

150 Partition or any other cup and core bulllet
45.5 grains of Re15
WinLRP
I have had best results with Remington cases, but Win cases are not far behind.
2.79" OAL, because that fits in my magazine
In my Micro-Medallion this is a .5-.75" load. The velocity is down to 2750 or so with the short barrel.

As usual, work up. This is near max in some books and too hot if I use Hornady Match brass.

150gr bullet, 42gr of IMR 3031.

Hits the same place as GI M80 Ball in many rifles. Much more accurate.

I've hunted with 150 Accubond over 44 grains of Norma 203B for the last three years. Very accurate and deadly out of my Mauser M03.

I tried IMR 4007SSC, H335, H4895,IMR8208XBR and Varget all in Black Hills Match cases using a 150 grain FB Hornady Interlock bullets and Winchester WLR primer and Hodgdon published data and working up to max or near max published data. All worked fine but Varget gave the best groups in my 25 year old Savage with a 22" barrel and a 1.5x6x42 S&B scope. Three rounds touching with just over 2800FPS. It seems like the IMR4007SSC had lower FPS than the other Powders which is exactly what Hodgdon indicated. I had very small spreads of 17 FPS or less with both H335 and IMR8208XBR I have since used both Federal Cases and Winchester cases with this load with good results. Too shots with this load resulted in two big Whitetail bucks this year. One at 200yards and one at about 40 yards. Hope this helps

Sorry, I forgot to say that the final load with Varget was 47.0gr which is listed as max with a Nosler 150gr BT and a compressed load. I do not remember compressing the load but the case was full. I do not have the OAL available at the moment but I did not crimp.
