Well guys and gals im in a bit of a crisis, i cant find any loading info for 180gr bt and sierra 150gr fmj bullets using Vihtavuori N160 powder lapua cases and federal magnum primers in Tikka T3 rifle!
I just need a starting point, especially for the 180gr ballistic tips!

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

From the VV Manual:

>300 Winchester Magnum
N160

150 ballistic tip
start: 69 gr 2789 fps
max: 76.3 gr 3097 fps


180 Partition
start: 65.2 2596 fps
max: 72.5 2867 fps


Loading data for Partition and Ballistic Tip is usually interchangeable.... hope this helps.

For 150's:
N-160 From 66.4 grains to 77.0 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

For 180's:
N-160 From 61.6 grains to 72.5 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

I'm using N 160 in my .300 Win Mags with great results :

180 Sierra Pro-Hunter / N 160 / 71.5 (2923 ft")

165 Game King / N 160 / 73.5 (3179 ft").

Primers are CCI 250 or WLRM, depending on the individual rifle's preference.
