A friend and I were talking last night and this cartridge came up. What do you think the ballistics of this cartridge will be? We were concerned with 100, and 117-120 gr bullets.
I am thinking 3400-3500 fps with the 100 gr and 3300 with the 120's? Am I off by far?

I would be really interested to hear accuracy/ velocity and loads. Also what setup do you have? How long is the barrel etc?

Thanx

I have one built on a Ruger #1 action with a 28" barrel. Mine shot 5 three shot groups that averaged .4" at 100 yards with a 115Gr. Nosler BT seated over 61 Grains of RL-25 and a Fed. 215 primer. I get right around 3300FPS over my chronograph. I like the first load so much, I haven't really messed with anything else.

Of all of the short mags, this is the one I would probably be interested in.
