In reloading the 45 acp why are there bullets with diffrent dia. ??????

.451 Jacketed for the .45 ACP
.452 for the Schofield
.452 for the Long Colt
.451 for the .45 Win Mag
.452 for the .454 Casull

Typically, 0.451" are for jacketed bullets in the 45acp & 0.452" are for lead bullets. The 0.452" jacketed are for the 45Colt, 454Cas. There are also 0.454" lead bullets for the old 45Colt rev.
