I just got a couple of TC barrels in trade. One of them is a 22K Hornet. What is the parent cartride? It's a lot faster than the 22 Hornet according to the reload info I get off the net. Help????

The K-Hornet is an improved hornet. It has sharp shoulders with minimum body taper. Fire a standard 22 Hornet in the barrel will produce a formed K-Hornet case. It doesn't have a large gain in velocity over the standard hornet. The cases tend to last a little longer. I think the K-Hornet is a much better round than the orginal. Here is a link for a formed case with a 35g Vmax: http://www.contendernut.com/data/22KH.JPG
