I am looking to start reloading 350 Legend

Components available are WW brass, Lee dies, Hornady 170 gr .355

I have Accurate 1680 Powder which was recommended but can't find any load data for this powder in 350 Legend

Am aware that IMR 4227, Lil Gun, 296 are recommended as well but can't find these powders so I'm working with the 1680

Anybody?

My software package shows:

170 gr. Hornady SP
30 gr AA 1680
2277 fps w/18" barrel
53,000 psi

Obviously that is not a starting load, so start low and stay safe.

I've only used cast bullets in mine, but I can report this resulsts:

190 gr. RCBS Silhouette .356 28.0 WC680 CCI 400 Starline 2.200" 2111fps

190 gr. RCBS Silhouette .356 23.0 Lil'Gun CCI 400 Starline 2.200" 2245fps

Depends on your rifle; bolt actions will like high pressures better than an AR. I have solved the 350 problem with all it's issues, and the fact that it is really a 9mm; I use the 450. Much easier to deal with in every respect.

I had a neighbor that bought a 350 Legend but then couldn't find ammo or at least not what he wanted. I found an upper about that time for my AR in 350 Legend. My AR did not feed the 170gr Hornady bullets very well at all. I ended up using the 165gr Flex tip
HOrnady's with 296. That bullet fed with no problems and the load I settled with would shoot an inch or less at 100yds.

FYI

If you use any Hornady or Winchester FIRED brass, note that the primers are crimped in like the Military, and must be waged or reamed.

Federal seems not to have this feature.

Remember, forgivness is easier to get than permission.
