I like crushed untreated walnut shell but a lot of people like crushed corncob, which is pretty cheap and available at your local pet store. It’s used as small pet bedding. Either one will clean sizing lube, oil, and dirt off your cases.

Try to look unimportant. Your enemy might be low on ammo.

If you want your cases to look nicer, so that the guys at the range will envy your reloading talent, you can add a dash of comet or bon ami to your walnut shell. If you avoid usless and expensive liquids, your walnut shell will probably outlast most marriages, certainly most rabid reloaders' marriages........

make sure whatever you put in there doesnt contain ammonia. It will weaken the cases.

Petco sells lizard litter which is crushed walnut shells. It gets brass looking good! Its cheap as hell also.

I use a little watered down liquid turtle wax polishing compound in the vibratory cleaner. I need sunglasses when I am reloading!
