I'm new to reloading and noticed that the .380 bullet is .355 and the same as the 9MM. Question I'm wondering is if the 9MM bullet can work in the .380 brass and if the .380 lee dies will work to reload 9MM? Or where can I order bullets at?

I doubt if the dies would interchange. Apart from OA dimensions, the 9 Para (9x19) has a tapered case while the .380 ACP (9x17) is straight walled. André DRSS --------- 3 shots do not make a group, they show a point of aim or impact. 5 shots are a group.

9mm dies are plentiful and you can shop around for good prices. Also 9mm's are usually loaded in large quantities and ease of use and consistency is important to me. NRA Patron Member

Yes both are .355 bullets. It pretty much stops there. A 380 die set will not work for a 9mm nor a 9mm for a 380. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

the 380 is a smaller diameter case than is a 9 mm

I load .380s by using a .222 die for sizing and a nine millimeter seater that I had cut some off the base. I can't see why a .223 wouldn't work just as well. I loaded around a thousand this winter. I is a poor boy but I make do.
