I have a lot of loadintg data on the 10.75x68 with AR 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009...As far as I can tell none of these powders are available in the USA, am I correct or have they been discontinued and if so is there a chart showing equal powders in burn rate to these..or what?

This list shows 2207, 2208 etc.

Seems that calling AA on the phone might get your answers.

Ray,

I think you mean AR2206-9, don't you? If so, try here Equivalents

Ray,

OldGuy is right on the money. In fact, let me pass this along from a conversation I had last year with a Hodgdon tech.

AR 2205 repackaged by Hodgdon as H-4227
AR 2207 repackaged by Hodgdon as H-4198
AR 2219 repackaged by Hodgdon as H-322
AR 2206 not currently sold in USA
AR 2206H repackaged by Hodgdon as H-4895
AR 2208 repackaged by Hodgdon as Varget
AR 2209 repackaged by Hodgdon as H-4350
AR 2213SC repackaged by Hodgdon as H-4831SC
AR 2217 repackaged by Hodgdon as H-1000
AR 2225 repackaged by Hodgdon as Retumbo
AR 2218 repackaged by Hodgdon as H50BMG

I repeat, the above combinations are in fact the same ADI powder imported and repackaged by Hodgdon.

To show you more proof, take the link below and then select a caliber. Compare your selected caliber load for load against the data Hodgdon has published in their 2nd Annual Manual. You will find they match to the letter!

Thanks from me too Mark! Smiler

I had a list like that somewhere, sometime in the last couple of years, Confused but I couldn't find it here or online. I couldn't remember where/how/when I got it either. I am afraid "sometimers" is rapidly approaching "mosttimers." sleep

Thanks from me also Mark, I knew/heard all Hodgdon
extruded powders were made by ADI, and many
know that 2208 is Varget. One would think
ADI here would admit and supply a list like you
have, in the interests of reloaders.
The loading tables will agree because ADI has
admitted that Hodgdon did the testing for them.

Thanks Mark ! you've made life a bit easier for

beer all of us thumb I don't know how other shooters in auz are fairing but I find it imposible to get any other powders apart from ADI or Win these days so any reloading mat from the US is'nt much good to me anymore. At least I've got the heads up now
